Who this applies to
This policy covers medicalgradedata.com and the Medical Grade Data platform. It describes how we handle information for website visitors and for authorized users of the platform.
Information we process
Account information (name, work email, organization, role) for authorized users; basic usage and security logs; and the de-identified datasets that customers choose to upload for annotation. We do not seek or want protected health information — customers de-identify data at the source before uploading.
How we use information
To provide and secure the service, authenticate users, deliver annotation work, maintain an audit trail, and communicate about your account. We do not sell personal information.
Customer data & ownership
Datasets, annotations, and derived labels belong to the customer. We process them only to provide the service and only per the applicable data-use agreement. We do not use a customer’s data to train models without that customer’s explicit permission.
Sharing
We share information only with infrastructure sub-processors necessary to run the service (e.g. cloud hosting), under contract, and when required by law. We do not sell data.
Security & retention
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and audit logging. Data is retained per the customer agreement and deleted on request, subject to legal obligations.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Enterprise customers’ rights are governed by their agreement.
